On the weekend of May 6th, Taiwan celebrated Europe Day at its annual Europe Festival in Taipei. The festival returned after a 2 year absence and this year's celebration coincided with the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the European Economic Trade office in Taiwan.
The event ran over two days at Huashan 1914 Creative Park in central Taipei and was jam-packed with over 50 stalls showcasing European products, tourism, food, drink and cultural activities. In a show of solidarity, the festival's organizers also invited the Ukrainian Community to set up a stall at this years event.
Over 15 EU Member States actively participate in the European Economic Trade Office in Taiwan and we caught up with some of their representatives to find out more about how they engage with Taiwan in this episode of Perspectives with Neilo.
